Part Number: DAC6551-Q1 Hello Team, Hoping you can answer some questions and clarify some items regarding the DAC6551-Q1 . Equation 1: Is listed as 2 n-1 I expect the equation to be 2 n – 1. Since N =12, there are 4096 states. Section 7.2 Functional Description This diagram implies that tying Vfb to Vout, the gain is unity. So Vout = Vdac Section 7.3.1 DAC Section: This figure implies that tying Vfb to Vout, the gain is two. Vout = 2Vref. Also, it is not clear between the two figures which is correct. Are the resistors external or internal. Lastley, The 7.3.1.1 Resistor string: This shows that the maximum output of the DAC is Vref/2 then followed by a amplifier with a gain of 2, this would imply the output is Vref. I’m not 100% sure if we are communicating correctly with the DAC, but we are getting ½ the voltage out of the DAC and if you could answer these question it may help us figure out where we went wrong. Thanks!
