Hello Nir, Regarding question 2, after the device powers up with both +VA and +VBD, it will go into power-down mode with a typical current of 50nA. For question 1, you can expect to see around 4-5mA on +VA until +VBD is brought up to at least 1V. (See details below when originally investigated) Per the design team and lab test results, either +VA or +VBD can be supplied without the other and no damage will occur to the device. There is, however, one anomaly found during testing. When +VA is powered before +VBD the supply current through +VA increases to 4-5mA while IDLE (a level on par with the supply current for the ADS8319 when sampling at 500KSPS). This current continues until +VBD is brought up to at least 1V. After +VBD has been turned on, if it is then turned off again this supply current will not reappear unless the +VA supply is toggled. This current is not damaging to the device, however, the customer should be aware of the additional power consumption during this odd operation 'mode'. To avoid the extra power consumption +VBD should be supplied with +VA if possible. If +VBD is later tuned off, the internal biasing of nodes inside the device will not put the device in this higher power consumption mode. Please let me know if the customer has additional questions.
