Hi Zachary The ADC12DJ3200EVM has an FMC+ type connector, based on the Vita 57.4 FMC specification. The EVM does not implement all of the other details of the standard and for most usage, especially with the TI TSW14J57EVM and TSW14J56EVM capture boards, it is not necessary to have information programmed into the FMC EEPROM. For that reason we do not install the EEPROM (U5) on the board. The FMC+ mezzanine connector is not compatible with an FMC (Vita 57.1) carrier connector, but we provide an FMC+ to FMC adapter for this purpose. It directly passes all of the standard FMC pins to the equivalent pins in the FMC+ connector. Any signals on the FMC+ pins of the ADC12DJ3200EVM are left open circuit at the adapter board.
