Part Number: ADS124S06 Dear Sir, The d/s 10.2 typical application on page 91, describes as follows; "The additional pins are used to route the RTD excitation currents around the input filter resistors, avoiding the voltage drop otherwise caused by the filter resistors R F1 and R F4. The diodes protect the ADC inputs in the event of a miswired connection." If a point at diode cathode side accidentally get minus voltage, ADC input (AIN1 and AIN2) can not be protected? I probably do not understand well the first sentence(it explains only AIN5 and AIN3). Best regards, Masa
