The ~RESET pin is not floating in itself but is definitely behaving like one. Until the ADS112U04 fails for the first time, the ~Reset is stable. After several minutes of continuous operation (at maximum speed, irrespective of the mode of operation whether it's normal or turbo), the ~RESET pin starts fluctuating followed by delayed responses. And after a couple of minutes, the data starts getting corrupted, or the device does not respond at all. For testing purposes, I have changed the pull-up resistor in one of the samples to 100E and in another sample to 1K (the original value was 100K). The devices now continue to give proper data for a longer period of time, before failing. However, the fluctuations in the ~RESET pin are still there. There is something inside the ADS122U04 , for sure, that might have been disturbed, which is causing the ~RESET pin to behave actively. Please note that I bought the ADS122U04 ICs from mouser, and so, questioning about the ICs not being original or genuine is very difficult. Best Regards, Abbas.
