Please see this video to understand TUE calculation: training.ti.com/demystifying-circuit-design-precision-dac-part-3 When using an external reference, the new error will be: TUE-new = SQRT((TUE)^2 + (RefError)^2) Considering +/-0.05% as the TUE specified in the datasheet and +/-0.05% external reference error provided by you, we get: TUE-new = 0.07% FSR Hope that answers your question.
