Thank you so much Alex and sorry for late response. Following your hint, I tried to look into the RLD, however there are still many things remains confussed.. Here is how I connect right now, where the RLD_IN and RLD_REF are connected to external headers (I simply follow figure 43 of page 42 in the ADS1298 datasheet). And I configured the CONFIG3 registers as below: PD_REFBUF (enabled), RLDREF_INT (as internal, that is 2.4V); However, the output signal is still pretty noised. Similar to INA129 , i think I shall connect the third channel as a referencing pin to enhance CMR. The following is the high-level schematic of INA129 where the Vref pin is used as the reference: I am wondering how shall I connect the ADS1298 similar to instrumentation amplifier, such as INA129 . Should I connect directly the RLD_REF to the body as a reference, similar to VREF in INA129 ? or is there other ways?? The goal for my usage is to measure EMG, that is the tiny potential difference of 2 leads. Many thanks!
