Hello Sean, Here are responses to your questions: 1 Yes, the LM98620 can still be configured using SPI with OVPB is active low. The OVPB only protects the OS inputs against overvoltage. The LM98620 SPI still functions. 2 If it’s not being used, CLPIN should have an external pull-down to ground, since there isn’t any internal one on this pin. Note that in all sampling modes other than SH3, the CLPIN signal is needed to set the internal AFEPHASE signal. If you are using the SH3 mode, then it may be OK to not use CLPIN. For all other modes, you should have a timing signal connected to the CLPIN input. 3 Assuming 6 channel mode is in use, the AFE has 6 inputs. There are CH1 and CH2 for each of R, G and B. Referring to Figure 33 and Table 10 we see that for each TXCLK, there are 10 R bits, 10 G bits and 10 B bits, plus some GP bits with additional information from the GPI inputs. To get all 6 channels worth of data output, we therefore need 2 TXCLK cycles. On the first TXCLK cycle we get R1, G1, B1. On the next TXCLK cycle we get R2, G2, B2. Figure 7 is showing this, with the Ch1 data coming out at tLAT(1) and the Ch2 data coming out at tLAT(2). The data for each Ch number is only there for 1 TXCLK, not 2 TXCLK as the customer is stating. Regards, Hooman
