Hi Ashton, Is there a particular reason why you want to turn off the AVDD supply? The analog supply only consumes about 100nA when in the powered down state. The ADS1231 was designed with the low-side switch to break the load cell excitation current when the ADS1231 is in power down. As Joseph has mentioned, there is the possibility that more digital current will be consumed as the device will enter a different operating state with AVDD removed. You will need to hold PDWN low and keep it low until 10us after the AVDD supply is back to nominal voltage. After the supply is operating I would suggest pulsing the PDWN pin high-low-high to make sure the device is in the correct operating state. We will let you know next week some more definitive information regarding operation as Joseph has stated. Best regards, Bob B
