Hi Yuri, Typically, when the ADS8900BEVM does not power up correctly, it is a bad connection between the board and the PHI. The position of jumper J2 (open or closed) should not cause this behavior. Did you install the two screws as shown in Figure 8 of the ADS8900BEVM-PDK User's Guide? I have had instances where the two boards appeared to be connected, but either the ADS8900BEVM would not power up, or it would power up, but there would be no communications between the ADS8900B device and the PHI board. In both situations, I did not install the screws. After installing the screws and reconnecting the EVM to the PC USB port, everything worked correctly. Please let me know if this helps.
