Part Number: ADS7953 I am looking at the reference manual for the ADS7953 A/D converter. It makes mention of the tables and says to use these as a reference. After reading it carefully, I still am unsure about the programming sequence. Apparently, you have to follow a certain program sequence; Here is what I am using: >> wr 0x4200 // Device resets all registers in the next CS frame to the reset states (it also resets itself). >> wr 0x8000 // Program Register for Auto-1 Frame 1 >> wr 0xFFFF // Program Register for Auto-1 Frame 2, to select all channels. >> wr 0x2C00 // Stay in Auto-1 Mode, enable increment counter, Range 1 operation. >> wr 0x0000 // Ends Programming? What is my next "dummy" data to feed the spi interface so that it will auto return all the values from each channel? I have been sending 0x2000 on every command and I get either 0x0000 0r 0xffff. I am a little confused. Could I speak to someone by phone?
