previously when I am using switch and pulser boards seperatly, pulser o/p are connected to switch i/p and transducer using normal female connectors then I got the distortion problem.
I planned to avoid the cables,then distortions of HV pulses some what avoided. Thanks for suggestions.
Now I am trying to programme the delay profile registers of beam former(lm96570) to get ultrasound transmit beam steering. But I am little confused with rx and tx beamforming. In transmit beamformer ,I have generated the delay patterns (32 focal point at 100mm) in matlab which were programmed to beamformer IC using FPGA. For rx beamforming I should focus more no. of focal points(Area of interest 1mm depth increment and angle steering -45 to 45 in steps of 10degrees). But I onfused that should I focus on many focal points like rx beamforming or is it sufficient to focus on some no. of focal points at certain depth.
