Hi Vidya,
1) From your power supply configuration, you WON"T meet the following requirement once you turn on +50V but before you turn on +40V (VPF=0 and VPP=50V). You need to configure the +/-40V from the +/-50V as shown in my previous post.
VPF ≥ VPP −14V and VNF = ≤ VNN +14V at ALL TIMES
2) You can de-soldered the LM96550 and check all the power supplies to see if any is shorted to ground.
3) I'll let you know once the power module schematic is up on the web.
4) I am sorry I don't think we support soldering and de-soldering components.
