Forum Post: CCS/PGA900: Run of Firmware does only work when debugging but not when simply power up?

Part Number: PGA900 Tool/software: Code Composer Studio Hello, I took the generic firmware of TI and changed it in a way, that it communicates via spi with my own gui. So now when I start my device with the XDS200 and Single Wire Debugging it works perfectly. Also when I start it with the debugger and remove the xds probe it keeps working. ( so I think no hardware problems). But when I want to run the device without the debugging start (simply power the device up after programming it) it is not working. What does the "green play button" do to the device that i miss ? Some kind of Reset or Restart ? Thank you ! Andreas Haas
