The phase generator is meant for better alignment of all eight channels into the summing amplifier. The user can control the phase delay of each of eight channels individually through SPI register settings. In CW mode, There are no scan lines. Additionally, Lambda/16 is an industry standard. Do you have a requirement for more phase resolution?
