Hello Frank, The operating conditions you are asking about is what page 4 specifies (3.3V to 50V) and which is reiterated in the Operating Ratings table on page 5. The absolute maximum ratings are voltage levels that if you exceed you have the chance of permanently damaging the device. If you use a power supply less that 3.3V (1V lower as you have stated), there is no guarantee that the part will operate correctly (but there would not be any damage to the device). Regards, Hooman
